He specializes in the management of chronic conditions like diabetes and hypertension at the Bluffton practice and provides a personalized, patient-centered approach to internal medicine for Lowcountry patients.

Areas of Expertise

• Cholesterol Management — Helping patients maintain, lower or control the levels of lipids (fats) in their bloodstream.
• Diabetes — A chronic condition characterized by abnormally high levels of glucose, or sugar, in the blood that affects how the body turns food into energy and can cause damage to the heart, nerves, kidneys or eyes.
• Hypertension — Elevated blood pressure that over time can cause the heart to work overtime and pump harder, possibly leading to heart attack, stroke, heart failure or kidney failure.
• Chronic Kidney Disease — A condition in which your kidneys stop filtering waster from your blood.
• Obesity Medicine — A field of medicine that looks at and works with the behaviors, environment, genetics, nutrition, physiology and psychosocial issues that contribute to obesity.

Background

Dr. Singh has always known that he wanted to help people, and the field of medicine drew together his passion for service and his fascination with the human body and its systems. Primary care appealed to him during his time in medical school at West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine because every day is different, and as a primary care provider, he can form long-term, trust-based relationships with his patients.

He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Mercy in Pittsburgh, Pa., in June 2026 and moved with his wife to the Lowcountry to care for the rapidly growing region.

Dr. Singh and his wife, Hinnah, enjoy traveling to new destinations. A sports enthusiast, he also likes watching and playing pickleball and basketball, and he is an avid cyclist and hiker.
