As a board-certified physician with Beaufort Memorial Concierge Care, Dr. James Frost builds relationships with his patients, providing personalized, accessible primary care and working to prevent, diagnose and treat an array of acute and chronic illnesses such as diabetes and hypertension.

• Osteoporosis — A bone disease that often occurs with age and results in loss of bone density, making them more likely to fracture.

Background

Originally from Baltimore, Md., Dr. Frost first considered veterinary medicine, but his path changed after seeing the compassionate, skilled care his father, also a physician, received during lung cancer treatment.

After serving in the U.S. Air Force and retiring as a Major, he opened Signature Health and Wellness, a concierge family medicine practice in Hardeeville, in 2004, while maintaining privileges at area hospitals, including Beaufort Memorial Hospital.

In July 2026, Signature Health and Wellness joined Beaufort Memorial, making Dr. Frost the first Beaufort Memorial Concierge Care provider in the Lowcountry.

Dr. Frost lives in rural Jasper County, with his wife Nicole, daughter Nora and 3 crazy dogs. He is an avid gardener, Gentleman Farmer and amateur computer geek.
