With more than two decades of widely ranging clinical experience at Beaufort Memorial Primary Care, Dr. Andrea Hucks is its wellrespected and undisputed anchor. At the practice, the board-certified internist specializes in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illness in adults.

Background

A native of Hartsville, South Carolina, Dr. Hucks went from medical residency to the practice of internal medicine at a hospital system in Memphis before joining Beaufort Memorial.

Known for her gentle, compassionate and patient-centered bedside manner, she includes geriatric medicine and postmenopausal women’s health care among her professional interests.
