A board-certified family medicine physician, Dr. Lenzy Stephenson brings a wealth of experience in holistic care to Beaufort Memorial Lowcountry Medical Group Primary Care. Passionate about holistic and osteopathic treatments, as well as food and nutrition, Dr. Stephenson brings a natural approach to preventing and managing acute and chronic illnesses, helping patients minimize the number of medications they are taking.

Background

Dr. Stephenson began her foray into medicine after watching her grandfather’s healthy lifestyle allow him to thrive into his 90s. An interest in culinary arts and how a healthy lifestyle can significantly improve health outcomes for patients, has enhanced her career in holistic medicine instead.

She has worked as a family medicine physician in Savannah as well as in California, at an outpatient clinic at David Grant Medical Center on the Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, Calif. and as a telemedicine provider and a physician serving the Native American population at Central Valley Indian Health in Clovis, Calif.

Born and raised in North Carolina, Dr. Stephenson also is passionate about music and loves to read as well as cook, experimenting with healthy eating and unique ingredients.
