Board-certified nurse practitioner Krissy A. Oudinot, MSN, FNP-BC, leads the Beaufort Memorial Preoperative Assessment Clinic (PAC) with a passion for patient education and communication, developing individualized plans to prepare patients for surgery.
She sees patients in the Beaufort clinic and helps ensure the best surgical outcomes by coordinating lab tests, imaging services, necessary care and clearance from specialists.

Background
Having spent more than two decades assisting orthopedic and spine surgeons in the operating room, Ms. Oudinot’s extensive surgical and occupational medicine background has given her deep insight into surgical preparation and recovery processes. Prior to joining the PAC, she had been assisting in surgery in a variety of orthopedic, spine and pain management procedures at a Maryland surgery center.
Ms. Oudinot wants her patients to go into their surgical procedures as strong and knowledgeable as possible, and she is committed to alleviating their worries as much as possible beforehand. She works with patients on being mentally and physically prepared, including addressing any chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension.
Ms. Oudinot and her wife Kara enjoy time outdoors with their golden retriever, Kinzie, and love spending days relaxing on the boat, enjoying the sunshine and life on the water.
