Background
Mrs. Tambroni-Parker, who for 15 years cared for patients in underserved Upstate New York, comes from a long line of women in health care. Her grandmother and aunt were both midwives, one in Italy and the U.S., the other in Britain. She herself has delivered more than 3,000 babies. Earlier, she served as a labor and delivery, primary care and triage nurse as well as a maternal-child health nurse/educator. She has also volunteered for the Syracuse Marine Parents Support Group and as a nurse at 4-H Camp Overlook in Mountain View, New York.
