Hilton Head Island residents will now have expanded options for primary care services with Beaufort Memorial as the health system launches new services on the island.

Beaufort Memorial primary care services are shifting in southern Beaufort County with the opening of a new Concierge Care location and the migration of a Bluffton primary care practice to the northern end of Hilton Head Island.

“Expanding our presence on Hilton Head Island is an important step in our commitment to meet patients where they are and make high-quality care more convenient for the Lowcountry communities we serve,” said Beaufort Memorial President and CEO Russell Baxley. “By adding a traditional primary care practice and a concierge care option both on Hilton Head Island, Beaufort Memorial is offering a range of primary care services to meet the needs of its patients on the island.”

Primary Care Practice Moves to Hilton Head Island

Beaufort Memorial Marshview Primary Care is relocating from Bluffton to the island, and two familiar, board-certified Beaufort Memorial providers will be seeing patients at the new location.

Dr. Nikki Keisler and board-certified physician assistant Stephanie Lovato, who both currently see patients at Beaufort Memorial Palmetto Medical Group in Bluffton, will now be seeing patients at Marshview. To ensure that Bluffton patients continue to have access to primary care, two new internists are joining the well-established team at Palmetto Medical Group – Dr. Sreshtha Singh joined the Bluffton practice in early July and Dr. Minh Anh Nguyen will join at the beginning of September.

The new location for Marshview Primary Care is 100 Exchange Street, Suite 200, Hilton Head Island. This location will see its first patients on September 8.

Beaufort Memorial Launches Concierge Care Option on the Island

Beaufort Memorial is opening a second location for Beaufort Memorial Concierge Care on Hilton Head Island as board-certified family medicine physician Dr. Christopher Opella transitions into a concierge role from his position serving patients at Beaufort Memorial Marshview Primary Care.

“My approach to patient care is very ‘old-school,’ and connecting with my patients giving them as much time as possible is important to me,” Dr. Opella said. “Concierge Care will allow me to take the next step in my career and take that commitment to connected, personalized care even further with my patients.”

Concierge Care is a membership-based model allowing patients to receive more customized services, including same day or next day appointments when needed, flexible scheduling, direct, 24/7 access to communication with a provider via phone, email or text and streamlined care coordination.

Dr. Opella is the second concierge care physician with Beaufort Memorial; in early July, the health system welcomed longtime Lowcountry physician Dr. James Frost to its concierge care model with a location in Hardeeville.

Dr. Opella will see patients through the Concierge Care model at the same location as Marshview Primary Care on Hilton Head Island – 100 Exchange Street, Suite 200.
