Katie Hall, a board-certified adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner at Beaufort Memorial Primary Care, works in collaboration with the practice’s board-certified physicians and other board-certified nurse practitioners to prevent, diagnose and treat acute and chronic illness in adult patients.
Areas of Expertise
- Preventive Care – Check-ups, immunizations, tests and screenings used to prevent serious diseases and medical conditions or to detect them before they become major problems.
- Chronic Disease Management – Helping patients with chronic conditions such high blood pressure, high cholesterol, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and diabetes manage their conditions and remain healthy.
- Geriatric Medicine – The medical specialty devoted to treating older adults and the unique physical and psychological concerns that can accompany aging.
- Breast Health – Promoting awareness in women of the need to familiarize themselves with their breasts so they can recognize any changes that may occur and the importance of regular clinical exams and mammograms.
- Wellness – Encouraging healthy habits that result in better physical, emotional and psychological well-being.

Mrs. Hall offers virtual visits for patients needing medication checks, standard chronic illness management, sick visits and follow-up care for certain conditions. If interested, ask about the option when scheduling.
Background
Before joining the primary care practice, Mrs. Hall had since 2020 been a nurse practitioner with MUSC Health Surgical Oncology at its Bluffton Medical Campus, where she coordinated surveillance and treatment regimens for patients at high risk for breast cancer and those recently diagnosed with the disease. Previously she served as a nurse practitioner at SC House Calls in Beaufort and, earlier, at Lexington Medical Associates in West Columbia, an affiliate of Lexington Medical Center that provides primary care services to low-income patients.
The Gilbert, S.C., native and her husband, Austin, have two young children, a daughter and a son, and three dogs. In her off-hours she enjoys “anything outside,” including boating and time at the beach.
