About Mrs. Amy Taylor

"Working in collaboration with our patients to achieve their health goals is one of my greatest joys as a Nurse Practitioner. Listening to each person's story and having empathy are vital components of the foundation of my practice. I have a strong dedication to high professional standards and I have a commitment to accountability and compassion."

A board-certified family nurse practitioner, Amy Taylor brings extensive experience in the provision of urgent care to Beaufort Memorial Express Care & Occupational Health, which she joined in 2019.

Previously, Mrs. Taylor worked as a nurse practitioner at several health care settings in the Beaufort area, assessing, diagnosing, educating and treating patients of all ages with a wide range of minor illnesses and injuries. Her fluency in Spanish has been helpful to many of her patients over the years.

Mrs. Taylor includes among her professional interests treating pediatric patients and performing procedures.

The Maryland native and her husband, Joe, an English teacher at Beaufort High School, have two sons and a daughter. She loves spending time with her grandchildren, birding, the beach and travel. Thanks to a birthday present from one of her sons, she is learning to fly.
