About Angela Olsen

As a Beaufort Memorial Express Care provider, Angela Olsen, FNP-C, can treat minor, non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries for children and adults of all ages.
A board-certified family nurse practitioner, Angela examines and treats patients with minor illnesses, orders on-site imaging and lab testing, and prescribes medications and treatments. If necessary, Mrs. Olsen can refer the patient to a medical specialist for continuing or more extensive care.
If a patient has a new patient appointment scheduled with a Beaufort Memorial primary care provider and needs medication refills prior to their appointment, Mrs Olsen will be happy to perform medication checks and provide a stop-gap prescription.
She can also perform physicals for employment or for sports, school and camp requirements.
Background
Prior to joining Beaufort Memorial Express Care and Occupational Health, Angela spent eight years as a registered nurse with Beaufort Memorial. During that time, she was an inpatient nurse in the Med/Surg, Postpartum and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Angela, a native of Charleston, SC, was inspired to pursue nursing after her father's battle with cancer in 2013. She and her husband, Shaun, moved to Bluffton in 2017 with their two sons to open a church the following year. They enjoy spending time with family and friends, being on the water, and all things Disney. Angela has eight years of experience as an RN at Beaufort Memorial in Med/Surg, Postpartum, and the NICU before moving to Express Care.
