About Stephanie Settle

At the Beaufort Memorial Breast Health Centers, Stephanie Settle, RN serves as a dedicated guide and advocate for patients through a breast cancer diagnosis, treatment and survivorship. She will:
- Answer questions about your care (including many questions you may not know to ask).
- Connect with resources and services that benefit your overall well-being.
- Help manage and schedule appointments, including biopsies and referrals, with your multidisciplinary care team, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.
- Offer emotional support to you and your family.
- Provide expert information about your diagnosis, treatment options and what to expect along the way.
Areas of Expertise
- Oncology Navigation — Integral members of the cancer care team, navigators connect patients with the help, support and resources they need at various stages of their treatment and survivorship journey.
- Breast Imaging — A diagnostic procedure using various imaging techniques to evaluate the breast tissue for abnormalities like cancer, cysts and other conditions, aiding in early detection of breast diseases.
- High-Risk Patients with Breast Conditions — Patients with underlying conditions including advanced age, a weakened immune system, or a serious illness who have also been diagnosed with a breast condition.
Background
With more than 20 years of healthcare experience, she brings a strong foundation in patient-centered care to her role on the breast oncology care team. Her background spans multiple areas of nursing, including women’s health, long-term care, hospice and home health, providing her with a broad perspective on supporting patients through complex health journeys.
Throughout her career, she has also contributed to care coordination and quality improvement initiatives, helping strengthen programs that support patients beyond the clinical setting. Her transition into oncology nursing reflects a continued commitment to guiding and supporting patients with compassion throughout their cancer care experience.
In her spare time, Mrs. Settle enjoys international travel with her husband and children, as well as down time on the beach with a book in her hand.
