Background
Diagnosed with multiple autoimmune diseases during childhood, Mrs. Cox was attracted to medicine early. She’s drawn to problem-solving and consistently strives to understand the root cause of clinical issues. This curiosity paired with her passion for community led her to a career in healthcare.
A Virginia native, she has worked as a memory care caregiver and as a technician in physical therapy, exercise physiology and emergency medicine. Her diverse experience as a physician assistant across multiple specialties has built a strong foundation for her pulmonary care in the Lowcountry.
Mrs. Cox and her husband Tanner are both “foodies,” and they enjoy golf, traveling, staying active together and spending time with their golden retriever, Boone.
