About Mrs. Kathryn Jones
"Oncology gives me the distinct joy of caring for people in my community during a challenging time in their lives. From initial diagnosis to long-term follow-up, we are humbled to provide patients with excellent care."
Kathryn Jones, a board-certified advanced oncology certified nurse practitioner with two decades of clinical experience, joined Beaufort Memorial Medical Oncologists in 2020. She returned to Beaufort Memorial following affiliation with another medical oncology practice in the region.
At Beaufort Memorial Oncology Specialists, Mrs. Jones serves a dual role. She screens patients at high risk for cancer owing to family history or other factors, referring them for genetic testing as indicated. She also assists the practice’s board certified medical oncologists in the evaluation, education, treatment and follow-up of medical oncology and hematology patients in both Beaufort and Okatie.
A participant in several cancer research protocols, Mrs. Jones includes survivorship and patient education among her other professional interests.
