Beaufort Memorial Foundation Welcomes Pearlman, Britton to Board of Trustees

The Beaufort Memorial Foundation has welcomed two experienced community and business leaders to its Board of Trustees: David Pearlman and Anthony “Tony” Britton, who previously served on the board from 2016 to 2025.

A Bluffton resident, Pearlman brings more than 30 years of leadership experience in healthcare, education and technology, along with a strong background in community service and philanthropy. He currently serves as Vice President of Education/Healthcare at Adobe and previously held leadership roles at Microsoft.

Pearlman earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Oswego and has received numerous leadership honors, including the Microsoft Circle of Excellence, Microsoft Impact Awards and the Microsoft Public Sector Red, White and Blue Awards.

Britton returns to the Foundation board with more than 35 years of banking experience, much of it in Atlanta, where he served clients ranging from small businesses to large commercial organizations. He also brings more than three decades of community leadership and has served on many nonprofit and civic boards such as the Cobb County (Ga.) Chamber of Commerce, Wellstar Health System Board of Trustees and LIFE University Board of Visitors.

In 2025, Britton received the Beaufort Memorial Foundation Impact Award in recognition of his dedication to philanthropy in the Lowcountry and his support of the Foundation’s mission.
