Breast Health Center

The Beaufort Memorial Breast Health Center offers a full range of preventive breast care and breast diagnostics services in a spa-like setting. Our center has been designated a Breast Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology and is also accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC).

We provide resources for all of your breast care needs, including:

  • Digital mammography with pink cushioned MammoPads for greater comfort
  • On-site radiologists who provide same-day results to reduce anxiety
  • Optional breast tomosynthesis, or 3-D mammography, which delivers more detailed results
  • DEXA bone density screening to detect osteoporosis
  • Stereotactic breast biopsy and MRI-guided breast biopsy
  • Treatment resources for all breast disease and cancer, including chemotherapy, radiation therapy and clinical trials, at our MUSC-affiliated Beaufort Memorial Keyserling Cancer Center

The Breast Health Center’s caring staff of certified breast care nurses, mammography and ultrasound technologists, and imaging navigators is available to answer questions and guide you through your services at the center.

New Patients

If you’re a patient new to the Breast Health Center, we require that you obtain your films/records from your previous mammography provider and that you bring them with you to your appointment. Previous films/records are essential to an accurate interpretation of your mammogram and allow us to provide same-day results. Please complete this form, send it to your provider and have your films/records mailed directly to you, not to the Breast Health Center.
