At Beaufort Memorial Hospital, a team of hospitalists provides attentive, expert, continuous care to help patients recover and go home more quickly. Board certified in family, internal or intensive care medicine, hospitalists coordinate and oversee every aspect of hospital treatment for their patients.
Studies show that the presence of hospitalists makes care so efficient that it actually reduces the amount of time patients need to be hospitalized. If your doctor says you need to be admitted to Beaufort Memorial, ask him or her whether your care will be turned over to our hospitalists.
Roderick Dippel, M.D., a specialist in family medicine who has been in private practice in Beaufort, has joined the BMH hospitalist team as medical director of the service.
