Beaufort Memorial’s team of experts can help diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions including heart attack, heart rhythm disorders, heart failure, atherosclerosis and peripheral vascular disease. Our heart and vascular services include:
- Preventive Care. We can evaluate your heart risk and help you take steps to avoid problems.
- Complete Diagnostic Services. BMH uses the latest testing methods, including diagnostic nuclear cardiology, to identify specific problems with the heart and circulatory system.
- Emergency Stabilization of Heart Attack Victims. Our highly train ER staff and cardiologists can help stabilize the victims of acute myocardial infarction (heart attack), and, if needed, prepare them for transport to an academic medical center for surgery or further treatment.
- Vascular Surgery. Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) and other issues of the arteries and veins can often be corrected by surgery.
- Extensive Rehabilitation Services. Our team of specialists can help you return to normal activity after a cardiac event.
