Our numbers tell the story.
Quality and patient safety are at the core of everything we do at Beaufort
Memorial. Each quarter we monitor what we call our Core Measures
to ensure that we are delivering the highest quality care to our
patients and keeping them safe. Some of these Core Measures are
also reported on other websites, although the data is usually not as
current as ours.

data on hospitals nationwide. However, that data is not as current as
the data we post on our site. For comparative information on AMI, heart

The South Carolina Hospital Association also has developed a website for healthcare
consumers and professionals. It is called MySCHospital.org. The site
contains data on how S.C. hospitals are performing in key areas of patient safety,
quality and service. All hospitals in S.C. participate in submitting data
to this site, which is reader-friendly.

South Carolina's Department of Health & Environmental Control (DHEC) just
recently began posting data on Infection Rates in SC Hospitals. However,
at this time, the data has not been verified.
