Keyserling Cancer Center imageBMH is a Smoke-Free Campus
As a healthcare facility, we take our responsibility to model healthy behavior seriously. In the early 1990‘s, BMH went smoke-free inside the hospital. In 2005, we broadened that to include all our facilities and campuses. Please help us keep our campus and facilities healthy by not smoking. Financial Assistance is Available
Healthcare costs continue to rise as new procedures and technology are discovered. And, though many people are covered under their employer’s health insurance plans or federal insurance programs, more and more Americans are finding that they do not have adequate healthcare coverage. Also, we continue to see a rise in the uninsured population throughout our country.

Beaufort Memorial Hospital is committed to providing financial assistance for our patients who need help paying their hospital bills. We will work with our patients to help them become eligible for special federal or state coverage programs. If you do not qualify for any of these programs, but are underinsured or uninsured, you may still qualify for financial aid. This aid is through the BMH Financial Assistance Program. All you have to do is complete a simple application, sharing specific information we need to help you. Click here for detailed information about our assistance programs, and to find financial aid forms.

If you need financial assistance with your hospital bills, please contact our Patient Financial Services department at (843) 522-7858, Monday through Friday during regular working hours.
