Making the most of your doctor visits

  • Come prepared—make notes & list questions to ask
  • If you have a new problem, when did symptoms begin?  What are they?
  • Are your medications working well?
  • If your doctor recommends a new treatment or procedure, ask about the side-effects and discuss alternatives. Be sure you know how to use the new medications.

If questions come up after you leave, or your symptoms get worse, call your doctor.
