May was a busy month at Beaufort Memorial as we rang in the construction of a new hospital, celebrated two groups of PATH program graduates and honored our compassionate, hardworking staff at the fourth annual Bemmy Awards.
Here are a few media highlights from the month that you may have missed (but certainly don’t want to!).
Bluffton Community Hospital Groundbreaking

PATH to Success
It was an exciting month for the Beaufort Memorial People Achieving Their Highest (PATH) program, as media highlighted the program’s ninth cohort, which graduated at the end of April (as seen in The Island News).
The program also saw the graduation of its first cohort of seniors from four area high schools, who participated in the program as a part of a dual enrollment partnership between Beaufort Memorial and the Beaufort County School District (BCSD). - Dr. Vandit Sardana, Beaufort Memorial Orthopaedic Specialists, who discussed injections for joint pain on Sun City TV
- Dr. Frank O’Neill, Beaufort Memorial Heart Specialists, who answered some frequently asked questions about high blood pressure in the May edition of Pink Magazine
