Certified Physician Assistant Joins Beaufort Memorial Bluffton Primary Care
September 14, 2025
Beaufort Memorial has added an experienced, board-certified physician assistant, Amanda Piolata, PA-C, to its team at Bluffton Primary Care.
Piolata brings a wealth of experience in both urgent and primary care for patients of all ages. For the last three years, she has seen patients at Beaufort Memorial Express Care & Occupational Health, delivering high-quality care to the community at the health system’s walk-in clinics.
Prior to relocating to the area, Piolata spent five years at OhioHealth Urgent Care in Gahanna/Reynoldsburg, a Columbus, Ohio suburb. She also worked at CardioMetabolic Health in nearby Westerville, where she previously worked as an exercise physiologist before completing her physician assistant training.
The Columbus native earned a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Ohio Dominican University and a Bachelor of Science in exercise science from The Ohio State University, both located in Columbus.
Piolata’s longstanding ties to the Lowcountry began with childhood vacations on Hilton Head Island, and her deep appreciation for the region and its people inspired her to make the area her home.
At Bluffton Primary Care, Piolata joins a team of board-certified providers including family medicine physicians Drs. Roger Ulrich and Bruce Vincent, as well as internal medicine specialist Dr. Johnna Stevens and nurse practitioner Kim Bean. All are currently seeing patients at the practice located at the Beaufort Memorial Okatie Medical Pavilion, 122 Okatie Center Blvd. North, Suite 310.
