This prestigious honor was presented by the center’s partner, Diversified Clinical Services (DCS), in recognition of its high patient satisfaction rates, exceptional healing results, and outstanding clinical outcomes during the past 24 months.
Beaufort Memorial opened its outpatient Wound Care Center in 2008, partnering with Diversified Clinical Services. Since that time, Diversified joined with National Healing Corporation to form Healogics. Helping bring hope and healing to patients on a daily basis, each of the more than 500 Healogics centers is staffed with highly trained physicians and clinicians who treat chronic wounds through a multi-disciplinary approach and advanced treatments. In 2011 alone, the Healogics network cared for more than one million wounds that had failed to heal using conventional methods, achieving a healing rate of 89 percent for these wounds.
