Our Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit helps you build the skills you need to go home or to another facility, such as a nursing home. Our experienced staff works with you and your family with a daily schedule of one-on-one therapy, group therapy, community re-entry, patient and family education, and goal-directed activities.
Your inpatient rehabilitation plan may include medical management, self-care skills, functional mobility, nutrition, pain and medication management, wound care, bowel and bladder management, education, family conferences and discharge planning.
We treat patients with limitations from:
- Brain injury
- Spinal cord injury
- Major multiple trauma
- Degenerative neuromuscular disorders
- Congenital deformities
- Some knee and hip replacements
- Other diseases and disorders
We accept referrals from physicians and other healthcare providers, case managers, family members and patients. Patients can be admitted from home or from the hospital or other types of facilities. Following a referral, a preadmission assessment is arranged and completed at no charge.
