Dr. James Amlicke is a renowned, board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and clinical educator. A New Jersey native, Dr. Amlicke graduated from Columbia University
and Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City before becoming a United States Air Force flight surgeon
at Charleston Air Force Base.
Following his military service, Dr. Amlicke completed his
orthopaedics residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit,
Michigan. He returned to South Carolina after 32 years of
private practice and worked as an orthopaedic surgeon
at Naval Hospital Beaufort. Later, Dr. Amlicke was invited to join the Medical University of South Carolina clinical

Orthopaedic Surgeons, he is a member of professional
